Karcher – Product Demonstration Case Study

Activity Brief

Link communication were challenged to deliver a national product demonstration campaign at 150 B&Q stores simultaneously. The campaign required a national network of highly competent brand ambassadors to be fully trained and briefed the on Karcher product. A full understanding of the features, benefits and functionality of the product was delivered to each brand ambassador through individual and group training.

This approach ensured all of our people were fully informed, confident and totally capable when it came to approaching and engaging with prospective customers. Our campaign management team excelled themselves by organising and co-ordinating all the people, products and store location requirements with a two week lead time. Client liaison was another critical element to the success of the campaign, Karcher ran media activity to raise awareness and interest over the Easter holidays.

The Results

The campaign activity produced an amazing 800% uplift in unit sales over the period of the campaign. Karcher also deployed their own staff at a number of locations to act as a measurement control against our brand ambassadors. We were delighted when Karcher informed us our teams had produced a higher sales ratio of 5:1 against the control teams.
